This Agreement may be revised from time to time to reflect changes in law or changes in LML’s business operation. This privacy notice was last updated on 19th March 2022.

The Programme and your health
The aim of LML SatPro’s weight-loss programme (the “Programme”) is to help patients lose weight and improve other aspects of their health. However, LML does not guarantee that the Programme will achieve any particular medical or health outcomes.
LML is a medical organisation which offers professional medical services. A doctor-patient relationship is created between you and your LML Doctor, however, use of the Programme is not for medical emergencies.
The information provided solely to you, in an individual one-to-one LML doctor to patient communication, is considered to be medical advice.
When using the Programme, you should continue to follow all medical advice given to you by your usual healthcare provider. If you receive advice from a doctor or other qualified medical professional which conflicts with anything contained in the Programme, and if there is any change in your condition including new symptoms or a change in your medications, then you must immediately discuss this with your LML doctor.
If you have diabetes, rapid weight loss may lead to a reduction in insulin or other medication requirements which, if not immediately adjusted for, could result in you becoming hypoglycaemic (the blood glucose becoming too low). Your LML doctor will keep in regular contact with you regarding your home blood glucose measurements and your medication. It is your responsibility to regularly monitor your blood glucose levels, in particular if you have symptoms such as feeling faint or lightheaded. It is your responsibility to be responsive to your doctor’s requests for your up-to-date blood glucose measurements and information on your medication regimen.
If you are on medication for high blood pressure, rapid weight loss can lead to low blood pressure (hypotension). Your LML doctor will keep in regular contact with you regarding your home blood pressure measurements and your medication. It is your responsibility to regularly monitor your blood pressure, in particular if you have symptoms such as feeling faint or lightheaded. It is your responsibility to be responsive to your doctor’s requests for your up-to-date blood pressure measurements and information on your medication regimen.
The Programme is a diet and wellness system designed to help you improve your own wellbeing. If you choose to follow the Programme you are solely responsible for deciding which of the suggested techniques you put into practice and how to apply those techniques. The general information made available to the whole group through the Programme should not be construed as such medical advice or diagnosis nor as a substitute for doctor consultation, evaluation, or treatment and should not be used when making medical decisions, or to diagnose or treat a medical or health condition save as explicitly discussed with your LML Doctor.
Your LML Coach is not medically qualified and should not be asked medical questions. All medical queries should be directed to your LML Doctor.
The information contained in the Programme has been developed on the basis of specialist knowledge and experience in the fields of weight loss, nutrition, sleep, exercise, metabolic health, lifestyle change, relevant areas of psychology, behaviour change and wellbeing. Care has been taken to confirm that the information presented is accurate and describes generally accepted practices. If we find, or are alerted to, a mistake, we will correct it as soon as practicable. However, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable laws, LML and its personnel are not responsible for errors or omissions, or for any consequences arising from application of the information in the Programme, and make no warranty, express or implied, with respect to the contents, completeness or accuracy of the material published.
If you are affected by certain medical and mental health conditions or if you are pregnant, the Programme will not be suitable for you. Although LML will endeavour to identify these conditions via the initial medical consultation, LML cannot guarantee that the Programme is suitable for every patient. If LML becomes aware of or suspects medical or mental health conditions or other reasons as a result of which the Programme is not suitable for you, LML may, at its sole discretion, terminate all or any portion of the service.
